Ronnie's Montessori teaching career began in 1976. She has held various leadership positions in educational organizations and continues her involvement in early childhood legislative issues. Her participation at Early Childhood Education(ECE) workshops and conferences, as attendee and presenter, and contributions to national educational publications and articles, speak to her continued commitment to excellence in professional development.Ronnie is also a mentor teacher for Montessori Interns. Ms. Micki has been working with the children at Nautilus for over eleven years. Originally from the Great Lakes area, Ms. Micki moved to California with her family when her husband accepted a company transfer. Her two grown sons also live in California. We enjoy her Mid-western humor and consistency with the children.
Ms. Judy has worked in our Prepared Environment for over nine years. She has six grown children, one of whom is a Montessori Teacher! After hosting her own in-home family childcare business for many years, Ms. Judy became a computer support manager. While her interests in Art continue to draw her attentions she and her husband are also busy raising their three adopted junior high and high school age daughters!
Ms Asha has worked with us at Nautilus Montessori for two years. She completed her AA degree in Early Childhood Education in December, 2010. Asha is the first of her family to graduate from college; and with honors! She has lived on five of the seven continents and became an American citizen in 2009! Asha resides in Roseville with her husband and two sons. Ms Asha's elder son, now in high school, attended Nautilus as a preschooler!
Ms. Nataliia joined our staff in September 2008, providing Formal Music Instruction to the afternoon mid-week class. Nataliia has been a piano teacher since 1970, having received her formal music education at Odessa Musical College, Russia, (The Russian Piano School).In recent years she has completed two courses of American Piano in the Classroom, Theory and Instruction.Nataliia is active in directing the music program at her church, and teaches private piano and voice lessons to students 4.5 year and older.She is available for private lesson via email natasha.rom@gmail.com.
Ms.Alex is in her second year as an assistant at Nautilus. Ms. Alex works with our children two afternoons per week in association with obtaining practical experience for high school graduation credits. She has become very "child wise", and does an excellent job with the children. Alex attended Nautilus Montessori for some years as a preschooler! We are pleased to have her with us again!
Ms. Julianna is originally from Singapore. She holds a Bachelor of Arts & Social Sciences degree from the National University of Singapore. After working as a producer at the Television Corporation of Singapore (Tamil Unit), she moved to the United States in 1997 when her husband was transferred here. She stayed at home to raise her 2 children who both attended Nautilus Montessori School. She now joins NMS to “learn, laugh & grow” with our little ones.
Cash became a member of our school community in June 2008, obtained from a Cocker Spaniel Rescue group; Cash is estimated to be about three years of age at time of rescue. He is a well adjusted guy who has assisted several of our children in overcoming their fear of dogs.
